With the drop of GenCon's events catalogue and signups we thought this was an excellent chance to talk about the third event type we are running at GenCon 2025!
Slime Mimic War: Defend the Castle!
The Slimes and Mimics are invading the castle that you are stationed at, and its up to YOU to defend the castle and beat back the invasion! With this event it is your job to throw your spells (dodge balls) at the incoming slimes (targets) in a shooting gallery-esque game for your chance to win prizes such as gift cards, t-shirts, stickers, digital books and more! But don't think that the slimes will simply stand in line and let you lay them low. They march with their matriarch the Slime Queen! Who will cast magic and destroy the castle if you can not lay waste to her armies fast enough! Not to mention the Mimics (pinatas) who will sneak into your castle, that you must break apart before they attack you from behind! Do you have what it takes to defend the castle from impending doom?

What about Cult of the Patriarch?
Cult of the Patriarch is going smoothly. We are currently about halfway through chapter five. Though after some initial review and playtesting we are deciding to rewrite the combat encounters in that chapter. However Cult of the Patriarch is taking a back seat to ensure all of our GenCon prep is done in time. Despite the slow down for GenCon the goal is to have Chapter five written and Chapter six started before we arrive at GenCon in July!
